Arthroscopic Elbow Surgery
Arthroscopic surgery is a technique that has been used to for decades to to address injuries and conditions of multiple joints. It is performed by inserting a camera in the joint (shoulder, elbow, knee) and directly visualizing the tissues. Using tools and implants introduced through additional small incisions, Dr. Lenarz is able to perform the surgery in the same manner as was traditionally done through a larger incision.
Using arthroscopic elbow surgery, Dr. Lenarz is able to treat a variety of conditions and injuries. These include:
- Elbow arthritis
- Elbow contracture/stiffness
- Loose bodies
- Lateral epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow)
