Dr. David Minges is a Saint Louis native who graduated from Saint Louis University High School in 2000. Dr. Minges attended medical school at Creighton University, and went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska. While at the University of Nebraska, Dr. Minges gained a love and appreciation for the field of spine surgery, and pursued an orthopedic spinal surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, where he had focused training and mentorship in complex spine surgery from four nationally and internationally renowned orthopedic spinal surgeons. While at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Minges treated a high volume of cervical and lumbar surgeries which included work-related injuries, sports injuries, traumatic injuries, chronic degenerative conditions, and complex/revision surgeries.
Dr. Minges is a spine specialist who treats injured workers, injured athletes, and those with more chronic conditions of the spine. Additionally, he remains active in numerous academic societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the North American Spine Society, and the St. Louis Spine Society. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
